This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit SapkowskiBooks.com (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect

We do not collect information related to purchase since we are not the direct seller. We are participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to SapkowskiBooks.com.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

If you choose to create an account on our Site, we will ask you to provide personal information about yourself including your first and last name, e-mail address, postal address (for shipping your order and issuing your invoice), a password and language preference.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

The maximum period for which customer data may be kept is that of the business relationship. From the last connection, customer data may be kept for commercial prospecting purposes for a maximum of 6 years. After this period, they are deleted or archived.
